What's New

This release brings Sentinel Premium — higher limits and extra features for Twitch, summarize, AutoMod, purge history, and starboard. Existing servers get 60 days of Premium at no charge while we finish shop approval; paid subscriptions will open once that's approved. You'll see Premium status and usage in the dashboard, get mod-log notices when Premium starts or is about to end, and when access ends the bot automatically returns your server to free-tier limits.

🎉 New Features

• Sentinel Premium (60-day complimentary access) — If your server already uses Sentinel, you're getting 60 days of Premium free while we wait for shop approval. No checkout required — Premium activates on your server and you get the full feature set during that period.

• Premium tab and plan comparison — Each server has a Premium tab showing Free vs Premium, your current usage (Twitch channels, summarize credits, blocklist size, purge retention, starboard emoji), and clear status (active complimentary access, expiring soon, expired).

• Unlimited Twitch live alerts — Free plan: up to 2 Twitch channels. Premium: unlimited. On free, if you're over the limit, older subscriptions keep alerts and newer ones show as Paused until you upgrade or remove a channel.

• More summarize credits — Free: 20 credits/month (default). Premium: 100. Upgrading mid-month tops your balance to the Premium allowance right away.

• Weekly recap (Premium) — Automatic weekly digest of the past 7 days. Choose up to 5 source channels, where to post, and day/time (shown in your timezone in the dashboard; stored in UTC).

• Unlimited blocklisted words + bulk import (Premium) — Free: up to 50 words. Premium: unlimited plus paste-or-upload bulk import.

• Extended purge & deletion history (Premium) — Free: 24 hours in the purge viewer. Premium: 7 days for deleted messages and AutoMod bulk deletions.

• Custom starboard emoji (Premium) — Free: Unicode only (e.g. ⭐). Premium: custom server emojis; starboard posts show them correctly in embed footers.

• Mod-log Premium notifications — With a mod log channel set, the bot posts when Premium activates, is expiring in ~24 hours, or has expired, including access end time where applicable.

• Premium badges on the dashboard — Server cards show Free or 💎 Premium so plan status is obvious across servers.

• Paid subscriptions (coming soon) — checkout and "Manage subscription" will appear in the Premium tab once shop approval is complete. Until then, billing stays off; access is via the complimentary 60-day grant.

🐛 Bug Fixes

• Starboard reliability — Fixed cases where starboard could mis-resolve channels or mishandle messages after settings changed; config refresh and sync are more dependable.

• Custom starboard emoji in embeds — Starboard posts now display custom server emojis properly in embed footers (via icon URL), since Discord doesn't render <:emoji:id> in footer text.

• Premium downgrade edge cases — When Premium expires, weekly recap, custom starboard emoji, blocklist, and summarize balance now revert cleanly to free-tier limits, with bot caches refreshed so AutoMod and starboard pick up changes immediately.

• Session and guild loading — Improvements to session handling and guild loading reduce stale dashboard state after login or when switching servers.

• Purge schema initialization — Purge tracking schema checks and migrations run more efficiently with async support and smarter column detection.

🔧 Improvements

• Automatic free-tier enforcement — When Premium ends, the bot disables weekly recap, resets custom starboard emoji to ⭐, trims blocklists above the free cap, and caps summarize balance to the free monthly allowance.

• Twitch "Paused" status — Dashboard clearly marks Twitch subscriptions that aren't sending alerts because they're over the free channel limit.

• Premium dates in your time — Expiry and access times in the dashboard can be shown in your local timezone (with UTC available).

• Starboard blocked users — Block specific users from starring messages on the starboard (by Discord user ID) from starboard settings in the dashboard.

• Dashboard modals and styling — Cleaner modals (e.g. weekly recap setup) and updated guild card styling for Premium servers.
